Quantum biology

The genetics and molecular biologists in 1930/40s felt that there is no need for quantum mechanics when double helix structure was found.

 Biologists didnt have the quantum mechanical background and the physicists were not enthusiastic about world of biology. Later, work of Roger Penrose and Stuart Hameroff explained and explored the nature of consciousness. They believed the proteins within the neurons of the brain could exist in a quantum superposition of two configurations. In 1990s there were experimental techniques using fast pulsed lasers, 2D spectroscopy and some of the were beginning to show that there were quantum effects going on.

DNA activation and healing 

This article highlights the new concepts how genes and genetic discoveries expand into energy and healing. All living beings have genes and scatter in various forms in body. They set certain unique instruction to define what the organism is, how it looks like , the behaviour and interaction  of the organisms. Human Genes are made up of substance called DNA, deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA gives instructions for living organisms to make molecules called proteins.

Further Genes are parts of DNA that oversee various functions including making proteins. The Long strands of DNA in the cell make up chromosomes. DNA molecules are found inside chromosomes. These chromosomes are located inside of the nucleus of the cells.

This unique structure chromosome, which helps to keep the DNA tightly wrapped around the proteins called histones.

Genes vary and it is believed that they can differ from a few hundred DNA bases to more than 2 million bases. Various living organisms are considered to have different shapes and numbers of chromosomes. This article further adds DNA contains the biological instructions or proteins that make each species unique.

DNA is the unique code that represents human and passes to their offspring during reproduction. The Nucleotide’s building blocks of DNA are called nucleotides. These Nucleotides are consisting of three parts:

  • A phosphate groups
  • A sugar groups 
  • Four types of nitrogen bases

Genes decide everything about living being. Genes can interact with an individuals environment and change what the gene make.

Human genome project 

The Human Genome projectis a major scientific research project. 

He main aim of the human genome project is to:

  • Identify all the approximately 20000- 25000 genes in human DNA
  • Explore the sequence of 3 billion chemical base pairs that make up human DNA
  • Store the information in database
  • Transfer related technologies 

The researchers identify many benefits of decoding the human genome.

  • Improvements in medicine; improved diagnosis of disease 
  • Risk assessment; reduce the likelihood of heritable mutations 

Epigenome, gene marking and gene therapy:

Recent research has found that genetic data are not held in the genome, but in the epigenome. As defined here “Epigenome is a group of chemical compounds that can tell the genome what to do”. The epigenome is composed of chemical compounds and proteins that can attach to DNA and variety of other activities. These actions include turning genes on and off and can control the production of proteins in particular cells. Also, there are genetic switches that increase the life span and boost fitness. Such can be applied to humans. This could lead to a breakthrough in the goal of modern medicine which can improve human metabolic function and increase longevity and healing. 

Gene marking: 

Marking of the genome is when these epigenomic components attach to DNA in the cell and modify the function.

Advanced research has found that the chemical tags on the DNA and histones can become rearranged as the specialized cells. Then these epigenomes change throughout a persons lifetime.

Changed in epigenome can be influenced by lifestyle and environmental factors such as smoking, diet and diseases. Further certain infectious diseases can bring changes in epigenome. 

DNA research and Quantum Functional Energy Medicine:

As highlighted in this article, “living organisms are considered as complex, nonlinear, dynamic, self-organizing energetic and field phenomena”. At the highest level of existence, life form is composed of “biofield”.  This Biofiled or the energy field maintains the integrity of the living organism. Further this energy field regulate its physiologic and biochemical responses. Energy medicine refers to several systems that work with energy fields of the body to restore health
